David Tutwiler
American (1952-)

A scholarship student at the Art Institute of Chicago, David Tutwiler graduated with a major in Fine Art. He has placed in the Top 100 of the National Park Academy for the Arts and is currently working on a book about the late Charles Vickery, seascapist, who was his partner and good friend for many years and a major influence on his career.
David is a nationally recognized painter and has won many major awards and prizes for his work. His subject matter is landscapes, railroads, and harbors.
Tutwiler is married to Line’ Stevens, also an artist.
